Virtual roadshow event

Devon County Council is now inviting parents and carers of children and young people with SEND to join a virtual roadshow event on either 19th or 20th May, where they can find out more about the new strategy, how it will be embedded into practice and the difference it will make to young people who need help and support.

The team will also present the latest SEND design proposals on how services will be delivered in the future, and parents and carers will be given the opportunity to feedback on these ideas to help shape the future of SEND services across the county.

The virtual roadshow events for parents and carers of children with SEND will be held on Wednesday 19 May at 10.00am–11.30am and Thursday 20 May at 7.30pm–9.00pm. You can book your place at the event here.

When the feedback has been gathered and analysed, the SEND Transformation Steering Group will consider the new designs for the service structure and once these have been agreed by all those involved, including children, young people and families, will move into implementation. The new SEND service is on schedule to be in place by Autumn 2022.  To find out more about the SEND Transformation programme visit Devon’s SEND Local Offer website.
