10K Race

On Sunday 26^th June a team from the Greater Horseshoe School in Devon took part in the Torbay 10k running event.  Ryan McLean (LSA), Jay Crossan (LSA) and Peta Hustwayte, Lukasz Miecznikowski and Richard Hibbert (members of the school’s Senior Leadership Team) ran the race in aid of the mental health charity Mind.  The Greater Horseshoe School will be making a donation to Mind in recognition of our commitment to the importance of mental health and wellbeing in our school community, and as part of our ambition to achieve the Wellbeing Award for Schools.   All participants enjoyed the event greatly and felt a sense of satisfaction after completing this high profile event.  We are now making plans to take part in other running events in the South West to support a number of different causes.
